DC2.520.1.        General Purpose

To establish a District for industrial businesses which carry out their operations such that no nuisance factor is created or apparent outside an enclosed building and such that the District is compatible with any adjacent District.

DC2.520.2.       Area of Application

This DC5 District shall apply to Lot 8, Block 1, Plan 992 5958, Armstrong Industrial, as shown on Schedule "A" appended to the Bylaw adopting this DC5 District.

DC2.520.3.        Uses

  1. Alcohol Sales, Major

  2. Alcohol Sales, Minor

  3. Auctioneering Establishments, provided that all goods and equipment to be auctioned are stored and displayed within an enclosed building

  4. Automotive and Equipment Repair Shops

  5. Automotive and Minor Recreational Vehicle Sales/Rentals

  6. Broadcasting and Motion Picture Studios

  7. Business Support Services

  8. Commercial Schools

  9. Convenience Retail Stores

  10. Convenience Vehicle Rentals

  11. Cremation and Interment Services

  12. Drive-in Food Services

  13. Equipment Rentals, provided that all equipment and goods for rent are contained within an enclosed building

  14. Flea Markets

  15. Fleet Services

  16. Funeral Services

  17. Gas Bars

  18. General Industrial Uses

  19. Greenhouses and Plant Nurseries

  20. Health Services

  21. Indoor Participant Recreation Services

  22. Limited Contractor Services

  23. Minor Amusement Establishments

  24. Minor and Major Eating and Drinking Establishments

  25. Minor and Major Service Stations

  26. Minor Veterinary Services

bb.  Outdoor Participant Recreation Services

cc.  Professional, Financial and Office Support Services

dd.  Rapid Drive-through Vehicle Services

DC2.520.4.          Development Criteria

  1. All development in this District shall comply with the requirements of Sections 410.4 and 410.5 of the Land Use Bylaw.

  2. Signs shall be allowed in this District as provided for in Schedule 79.H and in accordance with the general provisions of Sections 79.1 and 79.9 inclusive of the Land Use Bylaw
