DC2.541.1.       General Purpose

To establish a District to accommodate the development of natural resource extraction as an interim use and the redevelopment of the clay pits with industrial uses.

DC2.541.2.       Area of Application

This DC5 District shall apply to a portion of SW-21 53-25-4, located west of 170 St and north of Yellow head Trail (CNR rail yard), Kinokamau Plains, as shown on Schedule "D"- Map of this bylaw, adopting this district.

DC2.541.3.       Uses

  1. Farms

  2. General Industrial Uses

  3. Natural Resource Development

  4. Temporary Storage

DC2.541.4.       Development Regulations

  1. All development in this District shall comply with the requirements of Sections 420.4 and 420.5 of the Land Use Bylaw pertaining to the Medium Industrial District.

  2. The maximum Height shall not exceed 30 m (98.4 ft.),

  3. All conditions contained in the approval for clay extraction shall be administered by the Provincial authority having regulatory jurisdiction for such approvals.

  4. Section 79H - Sign Schedule for Land Use Districts shall apply to development of this district.

  5. All development shall comply with the Performance Standards for Industrial Development and the IM District under Section 73 of the Land Use Bylaw, with regard to emission of air and water contaminants, noise, fire and explosion hazards, and appearance
